SBN’s 13th annual Bears in the Air program to deliver over 2600 teddy bears to children

South Bend International Airport’s 13th annual Bears in the Air program will soon be making its deliveries to area hospitals.

More than 2600 bears will be delivered to children at five area hospitals including Saint Joseph Mishawaka Medical Center, Beacon Children’s Hospital, Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital, Elkhart General Hospital and Saint Joseph Plymouth Medical Center.

In total, the Bears in the Air program has now provided almost 22,500 teddy bears to children since the program began.

A cash donation will also be made to the Robert L. Miller Sr. Veteran’s Center next month.
