A man has pleaded guilty after being accused of possession of a machine gun.

Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in June for an overly tinted windshield on Concord Avenue. The officer smelled marijuana immediately, and an assisting officer asked passengers, including Moses Tapia, to exit the vehicle.

The Goshen News says Tapia was found with an unloaded 9mm handgun in his waistline and a loaded magazine in a pocket. Officers noted a Glock switch, used to modify a semi-automatic pistol to make it fully automatic.

Maijuana was also found where Tapia had been seated. His sentencing is scheduled for January 30.
