Driver injured in crash on County Road 25

A 31-year-old Warsaw man was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash on County Road 25 south of County Road 46. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9.
The 31-year-old man was driving a Nissan Altima southbound when the vehicle veered off the road to the east, entering a sloped yard. The car continued through multiple properties, striking a fence, a tree, and a hill before finally stopping after hitting a rock and a mailbox.
Emergency responders said driver suffered a loss of consciousness and possible head injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are continuing to investigate factors that led to the crash.
