South Bend Police defended their hiring practices after the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit claiming discrimination.
The DOJ alleges the department’s written test discriminates against Black applicants, while the physical test, in place since at least 2016, unfairly excludes women.
The city denies violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, insisting the tests are applied equally to all candidates.
City leaders acknowledge using the tests but reject claims of discrimination.

So they are saying black applicants are too stupid to take a written test. How is that not being discriminating? Seriously, claiming they are too dumb just to take the test is in its self
is 100% discriminating. What the hell. We all should be held to the same standard, no matter our skin color that doesnt determine our intelligence. Nor does it have anything to do with nwrit, this is crazy so a test is ok for every other race but its unfair for black folks because what? Thats like basically saying cause they are black they are too stupid to pass a test how is that even right.
