Driver injured in single-vehicle crash on Dailey Road

A South Bend man was taken to the hospital after he crashed his car on Dailey Road, north of Jefferson Center Street, in Cass County.
The collision happened around 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10.
Deputies say the northbound vehicle lost control, veered off the roadway, and struck a tree.
The driver, a 30-year-old South Bend man, was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by the Cass Fire Department. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to investigators.
The injured driver was taken South Bend Memorial Hospital.
