A man arrested for the murder of his two-year-old had his jury trial rescheduled.

Ryan Snyder was arrested after an 18-hour standoff with police in July.

Reports say police were called to a home in Elkhart for a welfare check after they received reports of a man threatening to kill his two children.

The mother of the children reported that Snyder had told her that she was never going to see her children again.

Snyder was arrested after SWAT entered his home and found his two-year-old son dead in a bedroom. His four-year-old was found alive and hiding. Snyder’s jury trial is now set for June 16.
