South Bend city leaders are breathing new life into the former Studebaker administration building with a major revitalization project.
At Monday night’s meeting, the Common Council approved a tax break for the project.
An LLC now owns the vacant building on South Main Street and plans to replace the roof and install new windows.
The $920,000 project is a significant step toward transforming the historic building.
