Almost 300 new apartments are being planned for downtown South Bend along the St. Joseph River.

City leaders say the project will be “transformative” for South Bend.

Developer J.C. Hart says it will help address the city’s housing needs and will replace the southernmost Crowe LLP building across the river from Howard Park.
