Coming up on Thursday, Feb. 13, more than 100 advocates from across the state will join at the Indiana Statehouse for the Alzheimer’s Association State Advocacy Day.
Organizers say they will be pushing for critical legislation that prioritizes support for the 121,000 Hoosiers living with Alzheimer’s and their loved ones.
They are calling on state lawmakers to enact legislation that incorporates Alzheimer’s and dementia into existing public health outreach programs.
They also want lawmakers to require health insurance coverage of Alzheimer’s treatments for State of Indiana employees.
