South Bend Schools Superintendent Dr. Todd Cummings is under fire, all because of “ice.”
The South Bend Community School Corporation board has scheduled an emergency public meeting for Friday at 5:30 p.m. to decide whether to place Cummings on administrative leave for not canceling school last Thursday despite icy roads.
About 100 other school districts in Michiana, including Mishawaka, PHM, Baugo, Concord, Elkhart, and Goshen, did cancel or delay classes for the day.
According to WNDU, one student slipped on the sidewalk, broke his wrist, and was taken to the hospital.
Board members also reported several bus slide-offs and teacher absences.
The meeting will take place late Friday afternoon at the Brown Administration Building.

Any discipline should include NO PAY for missed days,,.
Discipline with pay is NOT Discipline! , and does not reinforce the punishment.

He has destroyed the SBCSC with his woke idiocy, and yet the only thing they are upset with him about is not closing for weather?

South Bend residents deserve the education they get.
