Juvenile injured after bullet enters Elkhart home

A young girl suffered a non-life-threatening injury, possibly from broken glass, after a bullet went through the upstairs room of a home in the 1200 block of Mason Street in Elkhart.

Calls came in around 10:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21.

Residents said after hearing gunshots, they found an apparent bullet that entered the home.

No other injuries were reported.
