Carjacking suspect pleads guilty

One of two men accused of a carjacking attempt has pleaded guilty.

40-year-old Jessie Haradon and 37-year-old Joseph Thompson are charged with attempted robbery, battery, theft, resisting law enforcement and impersonating a public servant for the incident that happened at the Goshen Walmart in 2023.

The Goshen News says an 18-year-old reported being the victim of the attempted carjacking when the two suspects allegedly impersonated police officers.

Thompson was sentenced to a total of 13 years, and Haradon has pleaded guilty to robbery resulting in bodily injury and impersonation of a public servant. His sentencing is scheduled for March 27.
