Fusion Fest to return for third year

The City of South Bend and Venues Parks & Arts is bringing back Fusion Fest for its third year.
It’s happening Saturday, Sep. 27 from 12 a.m.- 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sep. 28, from 12 a.m.-5 p.m. at Howard Park.
The two-day festival will be filled with food vendors, music, demonstrations, and artisans from every region of the world.
Fusion Fest will take over the entirety of Howard Park and surrounding streets and will be separated into global regions with stages and vendors located at each corresponding region: North America/South America, Africa, Europe, and Asia/Australia.
Fusion Fest attendees will enjoy traditional music, dance performances, and learn more about cultures outside of their own by participating in hands-on activities and workshops. The festival will reflect the vibrant and diverse community that makes South Bend such a special place.

The deadline to apply for vendors and artisans is 11:59pm on Friday, May 30 and the deadline to apply for performers is 11:59pm on Monday, June 30.
