Elkhart Police investigating property-damaged shots fired incident

The Elkhart Police Department is actively investigating a property-damage shots fired incident.
It was around 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, when Elkhart Police were called to the 300 block Wagner Avenue for a shots fired report.
Officers made contact with a resident of the building, who reported that her apartment had been hit with gunfire and a projectile had entered the apartment.
During the investigation, officers also observed apparent gunfire damage to an air conditioning unit, and two vehicles with gunfire damage.
There were no reported injuries.
