Former South Bend Schools Superintendent Todd Cummings could soon head west.
He is currently negotiating a contract with a school district in Arizona.
Last month, Cummings used vacation and sick time as part of his agreement, leading up to his retirement at the end of June.
The Paradise Valley Unified School District Governing Board reports that, if the contract is finalized, Dr. Cummings will start with the district on July 1.
