Over 220 animals were seized during a search of a property.

Animal Control Officers with the Cass County Animal Control conducted a search warrant on Lilac Ave in Howard Township Wednesday morning.

Over 220 animals, including dogs, ducks, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, dozes, frogs, gerbils, fish and more were seized and taken to a safe location.

The suspect’s name has not yet been released as the investigation is still ongoing.
