One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Cass County.

Deputies were called to the intersection of Redfield Street and Ironwood Road in Milton Township around 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21.

According to investigators, a 70-year-old Walkerton woman was traveling north on Ironwood Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by a 25-year-old Decatur, Michigan resident.

The Walkerton was taken by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for injuries. The extent of her injuries were not immediately disclosed.
