Two Goshen teenagers were arrested after police say a firearm was pointed at a Walmart employee on Elkhart Road.
Goshen Police were called to the store around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, following reports of a person displaying a gun. Witnesses provided officers with a description of the suspect vehicle, including its make, model, color, and license plate.
Officers located the car shortly afterward near Elkhart Road and Westwood Drive and conducted a traffic stop. Two individuals – a 19-year-old from North 2nd Street and an 18-year-old from River Avenue – were detained and later arrested.
Both face charges of criminal recklessness with a firearm and possession of marijuana. They were booked into the Elkhart County Jail.
