A woman accused of shooting and killing her husband has been deemed non-restorable to competency.

70-year-old Linda Tener is accused of fatally shooting her husband, Johnnie. Reports say she allegedly pointed a gun at her son who restrained her.

He told police that Tzener had confessed to killing her husband who was found dead in a recliner. Evansville State Hospital deemed her non-restorable to competency.

The Goshen News says the judge continued the jury trial and scheduled a status conference in July as they await the formal filing in Vanderburgh County and a report from the hospital.
