A roundabout project at Cleveland and Beech Roads in Granger is running behind schedule.
County leaders say unexpected issues faced by NIPSCO have delayed the planned closure of the intersection by a week, pushing it to June 9.
NIPSCO had originally aimed to finish its portion by the end of May.
Because of the delay, contractor Rieth-Riley will have to wait to begin work. The $3.5 million project is now expected to wrap up by mid-October.

$3.5 million dollars to replace $2000 worth of stop signs. Brilliant!
Concrete crop circles are not worth it.
