Amazon is hiring more than 1,000 full-time workers ahead of its new 800,000-square-foot fulfillment center opening in fall 2025.

The company says starting pay will average over $19 per hour and include benefits.

Amazon announced the project in 2021 with plans to create 1,000 jobs.

Recently, local residents received letters about upcoming job opportunities at the still-under-construction distribution center.
