A lot of people in Indiana are turning to Google for help with hair loss. Over the past year, Hoosiers searched hair loss topics more than 88,000 times.
The top search? Just “hair loss treatment.” That one came up nearly 12,000 times. After that, folks were looking up things like “hair growth serum” and “best vitamins for hair growth.”
People also had questions about postpartum hair loss, shampoos, and whether creatine could be the reason their hair is thinning. Some even searched for treatments like finasteride.
The Anderson Center for Hair looked at search data across all 50 states and found that Indiana actually ranks on the lower end when it comes to hair loss concern. Hoosiers made about 1,285 searches per 100,000 people. That’s less than the national average.
Other states are searching way more often. New York, California, and Massachusetts all had higher numbers.
So if you’ve been wondering about your hair, you’re not the only one. A lot of people are asking the same questions and looking for answers too.
