South Bend man sentenced to prison for theft at Four Winds Casino

A 26-year-old South Bend man, Dillan Hafer, has been sentenced to six months in prison for stealing alcohol from the Four Winds Casino, announced Acting U.S. Attorney M. Scott Proctor. Hafer was also ordered to serve one year of supervised release following his prison term.
Hafer pleaded guilty to theft from the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. Court documents reveal that on the night of the theft, Hafer stole six bottles of alcohol from an unattended bar at the casino’s event center. Tribal police were able to identify Hafer as the suspect after reviewing security footage from the casino.
