A former South Bend pastor has pleaded guilty to sexual crimes against a minor.
36-year-old Geoffrey Carter was arrested in November of last year after a 17-year-old victim reported the abuse earlier in the year.
Carter previously led the Children’s Choir of Michiana and worked as a recruitment director at Notre Dame.
According to court documents, investigators found hidden cameras in his home, and nude pictures and videos of the victim.
Both groups cut ties with him after his arrest.
