Fees for South Bend Police body and dash cam footage requests will go into effect, starting in January.
The South Bend Common Council voted during their meeting on Monday, Aug. 11, 7-2, to approve the fees.
However, the bill was amended to reduce the video redaction fee from $50 to $25 per hour, with a cap of $75 per video. That’s down from the original $150 that was suggested.
