Robbery suspect pleads guilty

A man accused of robbing a Dunlap jewelry store has pleaded guilty.

David Juarez is accused of robbing the Kay Jewelers on Elkhart Road in October of 2023.

Reports say about $19,000 worth of jewelry was stolen during the robbery, and Juarez was linked to the crime through his vehicle on surveillance footage.

The Goshen News states he pleaded guilty to robbery and in exchange, another case of his will be dismissed with prejudice. His sentencing is set for September 4.
