Police are investigating a shooting that injured two people.

It happened around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 17, in the 700 block of Lindenwood Drive.

Officers took a woman and an 8-year-old to the hospital. The teen is in critical condition, while the adult has non-life-threatening injuries.

The city’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating, but police haven’t confirmed what led to the shooting or if a suspect is in custody.
