Elkhart County GOP to hold caucus to choose new Benton Township Trustee

The Elkhart County Republican Party is announcing a caucus to choose a new Benton Township Trustee.
Current Trustee Brad Showalter and his family are moving out of the county.
The caucus will take place on the evening of Sep. 9. Republican precinct committee chairs who are eligible to vote in the caucus will be notified through official channels with additional location and timing details.
Showalter spent seven years as trustee.
Those with questions about the caucus and those wishing to file to run for the vacant Trustee position are asked to contact Elkhart County Republican Chair Courtney Papa at 1-574-361-5802.
