A federal grand jury declined to indict Nathalie Rose Jones, who was arrested in August for allegedly threatening to kidnap and kill former President Donald Trump.
Authorities took Jones into custody on Aug. 16 after investigators linked her to social media posts made under the username “nath.jones” between Aug. 2 and Aug. 9.
The posts called for Trump’s removal and criticized his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jones’s attorney confirmed the grand jury’s decision in a court filing Monday. The U.S. Secret Service led the investigation.
