Elkhart Police say the black 1998 Chevrolet GMT truck stolen during Saturday’s shooting has been located. The truck was found on Sunday, Sep. 14, parked and unoccupied, in the city.

Police say a 51-year-old man was shot in the leg early Saturday after confronting a masked man trying to break into his vehicle on W. Mishawaka Road. The suspect fled with a female in the victim’s truck. No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
