Michigan City Police and Animal Control are warning residents who live near Gardena and Superior Streets that someone is trapping and poisoning cats.

Investigators believe the suspect is using anti-freeze and has been setting traps for years.

Officers are searching for a woman connected to the cases but they haven’t found her.

Animal Control is asking residents with camera footage or information to come forward.
