A Jones, Michigan woman has been sentenced for drug possession in Cass County Circuit Court.
Martha Cramer, 47, was convicted by a jury of possessing methamphetamine and sentenced to 300 days in jail.
The charge stemmed from a January 29 compliance visit at her home, where probation agents found meth and digital scales. Cramer was already on probation for an April 2024 meth possession conviction, which remains in effect.
Leader Publications reports Cass County Prosecutor Victor Fitz requested a prison term, citing Cramer’s long record of offenses, including assault, larceny, weapons, and welfare fraud. Fitz called Cramer “her own worst enemy who continues to make bad decisions.”
