The Elkhart Salvation Army officially kicked off its 2025 holiday campaign with a public event featuring Elkhart Mayor Rob Roberson, 95.3 MNC morning host Laura Smith, and Advisory Board President Gina Storm.
The event, open to the community, highlighted the organization’s mission, impact, and fundraising goals for the season. The Salvation Army also promoted volunteer opportunities, including its iconic bell-ringing program. Refreshments were provided to attendees.
As the largest non-governmental social service provider in the U.S., The Salvation Army supports nearly 24 million Americans each year, including more than 10,000 people across Elkhart, LaGrange, and Steuben counties. The annual Christmas Campaign plays a critical role in funding programs that meet human needs throughout the holidays and beyond.
