NIPSCO has named Spencer Summers as its new economic development manager.

Summers will work with site selectors, investors and industry leaders to strengthen sustainable growth and boost regional competitiveness.

He previously served as economic development director for the Northwest Indiana Forum, and earlier as facility and league director at The Courts of Northwest Indiana in Valparaiso.

Summers holds an MBA from Purdue University Northwest, following a double major in business management and human resources. Northwest Indiana Business says he looks forward to helping drive business growth and new investment across Northern Indiana.
