South Bend man found guilty of 11-year-old’s murder

An 18-year-old South Bend man has been found guilty of murder in the shooting death of 11-year-old T’yon Horston. 

A jury convicted Dominick Williams Jr. on Friday for the 2023 killing, but he was cleared of an additional firearm enhancement.

South Bend Police say Horston was shot on April 20 in the 600 block of North Johnson Street.

Sentencing is set for January 16, and Williams is likely to face 45 to 65 years in prison.
