An Elkhart man has been sentenced to 7 years for what prosecutors called an egregious crime.
51-year-old Daniel Parker pleaded guilty to child exploitation and multiple counts of possessing illegal images. Investigators say they recovered more than 150 files from Parker’s devices during an April search.
According to The Goshen News, Parker claimed he meant to report the material, but police also found additional concerning items in his home.
Court records show Parker has two prior convictions involving minors from the 1990s.
Under a plea agreement, he’ll serve seven years in prison followed by five years of probation.

Like seriously sounds like they had enough proof to convict. So why are we giving a plea to a pedophile that has priors. Prosecutor must be to lazy to do there job and rather take the easy way. Put these pcs of trash away for the maximum. What a disgrace.
