Michiganders are expected to pay more for healthcare in the new year.
Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives approved a healthcare bill that didn’t extend the enhanced Affordable Care Act tax credits.
WSJM reports that these made coverage more affordable for hundreds of thousands of Michigan residents, and those credits will expire at the end of the year. A likely vote in the House to extend the subsidies is not expected to happen until after they expire on the 31st.
