A tornado went through downtown Linton, damaging buildings, blocking roads, and forcing 10 people to leave their homes.
One person was taken to the hospital.
Everyone who had to leave their homes has been given help finding temporary housing.
Meteorologists from the National Weather Service visited on Monday to assess the damage.
Andrew White said the dirt along some buildings shows there was some swirling in the wind, not just straight-line gusts.
