Gov. Braun commends ISP for drug removal efforts

The office of Indiana Governor Mike Braun commended the Indiana State Police for their efforts in removing drugs from communities and ensuring public safety in 2025.
The State Police seized 1,389 pounds of cocaine and over 80 pounds of opioids, contributing to a 60% decrease in overdose deaths.
Additionally, OWI arrests increased by 17% in 2025.
Statewide fatal crashes decreased by approximately 8% last year, with 737 incidents reported.
