Elkhart Community Schools will announce its next superintendent during the Board of School Trustees meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

District officials say the decision follows a months-long selection process aimed at finding a leader who can sustain the corporation’s academic, arts, and athletic programs while strengthening community engagement.

The announcement will be made during the regular board meeting at the Educational Service Building, 2720 California Road, beginning at 6 p.m. The meeting is open to the public, and media are invited to attend.​
