A high-impact tutoring program developed at the University of Notre Dame is set to expand across Indiana with a new federal grant.
The program, called Tutor-ND, focuses on providing evidence-based skills to tutors to help students in second and third grade, particularly those in high-need schools.
The Indiana Department of Education received a nearly $10 million grant to scale the program, aiming to serve at least 9,000 students who are struggling with reading.
