Syracuse man arrested in connection with 1975 San Diego homicide

A 71-year-old man from Syracuse has been arrested in connection with a 1975 homicide in San Diego.
Johnnie Salisbury was arrested for the killing of Edmund LaFave, who was found beaten and stabbed in his home over 50 years ago.
The case had gone cold until recent forensic technology identified Salisbury as a suspect.
He is currently awaiting an extradition hearing in jail.
