Lerner Theatre brings back ‘The Lerner Loves You’ series

The historic Lerner Theatre in Downtown Elkhart is bringing back The Lerner Loves You, a free community movie series created as a thank-you to local residents. 

Sponsored by the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the series invites audiences to enjoy classic films together.

Movies will be shown monthly on select Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m., running February through May, then October through December.

Seating is first-come, first-served. The series features films from across generations, celebrating storytelling, connection, and the magic of cinema.

Admission is free.

Movies will be shown on the following dates:

    • Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 3:00pm
    • Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 3:00pm
    • Sunday, May 24, 2026 at 3:00pm
    • Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 3:00pm
    • Sunday, November 29, 2026 at 3:00pm
    • Sunday, December 20, 2026 at 3:00pm

What the Learner needs to do is go over to Shipshewanna and study how their preforming arts center manages to attract BIG acts. I have been to far more events there than at the Learner. Parking, Price, and just going downtown are all factors in my decisions.
