A 19-year-old man was injured in a shooting late Tuesday morning at an apartment complex in Michigan City.
According to the Michigan City Police Department, the LaPorte County Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call just before 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, reporting an injured person in the 2300 block of Normandy Drive, within the Normandy Village apartment complex.
Officers arriving on scene found a 19-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his right arm. LaPorte County EMS transported the victim to Franciscan Health in Michigan City for treatment.
