Goshen police arrested an Elkhart man following a reported domestic disturbance involving a weapon.
Officers were dispatched to the 61000 block of County Road 17 just after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, for a domestic dispute with weapons. Police located the suspect, identified as George Bennet of Elkhart, at the scene.
Bennet was arrested on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon, domestic battery in the presence of a minor, interfering with the reporting of a crime, theft, and on an outstanding Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office warrant.
He was transported to the Elkhart County Jail.
