South Bend Fire crews called to blaze at South Bend Ethanol Plant

South Bend Fire crews were called to a blaze at the South Bend Ethanol Plant.
According to the South Bend Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched around 1:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, to the 3200 block of West Calvert Street. Upon arrival, crews found a working fire inside a rotary steam grain dryer at the facility.
Firefighters deployed an attack line and were able to bring the fire under control within approximately 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
