The City of Niles is inviting residents to review and comment on its draft 2026-2031 Parks and Recreation Plan.
The Niles Parks and Recreation Board announced the five-year plan is now available online. Community members may submit comments through March 30 by visiting the city’s website at www.nilesmi.org
and accessing the Citizen Request Center.
A public hearing on the proposed plan will be held April 13 during the regular Niles City Council meeting to gather additional feedback from residents.
Written comments may also be mailed to City of Niles, Attn: Community Development, 333 N. 2nd Street, Niles, MI 49120, or emailed to communitydevelopment@nilesmi.org.
City officials say public input will help shape priorities for park improvements, recreation programming and future development over the next five years.
