The City of South Bend Leaf Pickup Program will resume Monday, March 23, weather permitting.

The program was paused in late November due to heavy snow and freezing temperatures.

Crews will restart in Zone 7, where pickup was suspended last fall, and work street by street to complete each zone before moving on.

After finishing Zones 7 through 9, crews will return to Zone 1 for a second pass through the city. Residents do not need to call to schedule pickup.

Leaves must be raked to the tree lawn by 6 a.m. on set-out dates, and piles must be free of sticks and debris. Leaf burning is prohibited.
