Daylight saving time begins this weekend.
Clocks will move forward one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday. Residents are encouraged to set clocks ahead before going to bed Saturday night.
The annual time change is intended to make better use of daylight and conserve energy. Daylight saving time will end Nov. 1, when clocks fall back one hour.
