The City of South Bend has announced the recipients of its 2025 Neighborhood IGNITE Grant Program.

The program supports resident-led projects across the community. It was launched in 2022 and provides up to $15,000 to neighborhood groups for initiatives that inspire improvement and connection.

This year’s projects include a Greenway Alley water tap on the Near West Side, a covered bus shelter in Miami Village and expanded tree planting in the Near Northwest Neighborhood.

Woodlawn will install new neighborhood signage, while Twyckenham Hills continues development of its pocket park with new playground equipment.
